Jillian Goldfine-Auerbach


Jillian earned her Master’s Degree from The College of Saint Rose in 2009, and in 2010 became dually licensed in Community Mental Health Counseling and Credentialed Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). She has worked in various settings including community-based case management, residential programs, inpatient substance abuse treatment, partial hospital psychiatric program, and most recently with the forensic male substance abuse population in prisons.

Jillian is a very direct and empathic therapist, using humor and insight to relate to her clients. She utilizes various evidence-based treatment modalities and is well versed in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivation Enhancement Therapy, Psychoeducation and Reality/Choice Therapy. Jillian enjoys working with adults from different backgrounds. She has over a decade of experience treating individuals struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse concerns, personality disorders, anger issues, relationship issues, self-esteem, trauma, and post-traumatic Stress from the workplace.  She specializes in men’s issues, working with 1st responders and addictive behaviors.
