Brittany is a highly-skilled, compassionate, and empathetic professional therapist with over 10 years of experience implementing effective treatment plans for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Brittany has a lengthy history of working with individuals dealing with mental health challenges such as depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, disruptive behavior disorders, adjustment disorders, attachment disorders, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. Brittany graduated from The Sage Graduate School in 2010 with her master's in forensic mental health. She has worked in alternative behavioral schools, homeless youth shelters, head start schools/programs, residential facilities for adults with schizophrenia, community police departments, and halfway houses for adults transitioning out of incarceration into the community. Brittany has successfully completed training on a wide variety of subjects including family violence, substance abuse, sexual assault intervention, suicide intervention, childhood trauma, facilitating restorative justice, and ARC restorative practices. Brittany has demonstrated a passion for working with a diverse clientele in one-on-one, family, and group settings. Brittany is an effective motivator, communicator, and advocate with a natural ability to manage all varieties of personalities, defuse stressful situations, proactively resolve conflict, and meet clients at their level to accomplish treatment goals in a judgment-free welcoming environment.
