Brittney Lane
Brittney earned her master’s degree in counseling and community psychology from Russell Sage College in 2022. Brittney has experience working with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health struggles including anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body image and
self-esteem concerns, and trauma. Additionally, she enjoys working with the athlete population. As a former competitive distance runner, Brittney has experienced the highs and lows associated with sports. Brittney seeks to help current and former athletes process their experiences and cope with the demands and challenges involved with being both an athlete and a human being. In the process of treatment, Brittney uses a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy while pulling from an array of other modalities as needed for each client’s unique needs. She strives to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that emphasizes genuine connection to foster healing and improved quality of life. When not working, Brittney enjoys running, listening to music, and spending time with her family and her two cats: Bucky and Dave.
