Agnes earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of Saint Rose. Prioritizing professional and personal development plays an important role in seeking out new techniques to implement with her clients.
Agnes is a motivated and compassionate professional, dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey towards optimal mental health and well-being.
Her background as a past Birth Doula has equipped her with invaluable skills in providing psychological, emotional, and informational support to women and their families. Agnes, as a certified perinatal mental health counselor, specializes in working with women experiencing a variety of conditions, including postpartum mood disorders. She actively collaborates with healthcare professionals, community resources, and other support networks to ensure comprehensive care and holistic well-being. Additionally she provides support to individuals, families, couples and groups for mental and emotional health issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, grief and trauma. She enjoys working with children and adolescents and their families.
Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices. By integrating techniques from multiple modalities such as CBT, DBT, Strength Based-Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Family Systems and Play Therapy, in addition to trauma informed interventions she is able to tailor sessions to each client’s strengths and needs.
