Mackenzie Johnson

Mackenzie Johnson earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Albany in 2022. Mackenzie works with clients navigating a range of issues, including general life stressors and transitions (such as economic stress, coming of age), substance use, issues related to mood and anxiety, and trauma. Her theoretical orientation is an integrative approach of person-centered, CBT and DBT. Mackenzie believes that therapy is a collaborative process, and seeks to guide her clients towards empowerment, self-awareness, and an overall more meaningful life experience. Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family (including her two dogs, Sawyer and Bentley).
