Kaitlin Banks
Kaitlin earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from New York University. She has experience collaborating with individuals in youth residential treatment facilities, human service agencies, and outpatient counseling centers. Kaitlin is a compassionate and empathetic therapist who enjoys working with clients across the entire lifespan. She nurtures a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space for clients to grow self-awareness and empowerment leading toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Kaitlin’s approach to therapy includes integrative evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the individual client’s needs. Kaitlin has experience utilizing Internal Family Systems, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral therapy, somatic experience, attachment-based, person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral and play therapy approaches. Kaitlin supports clients seeking relief from symptoms of depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and trauma. Additionally, Kaitlin provides therapy services to couples and family systems looking to improve communication patterns and dynamics.
