Mariah Rivet
Mariah graduated with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling after completing a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Psychology. Prior to becoming a therapist, she spent many years working in human services at non-for-profit agencies supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as children, and families in a variety of capacities. She practices utilizing components from a psychodynamic framework, internal family systems, intuitive eating counseling, family systems, and most importantly viewing clients as individuals with unique experiences and needs. Mariah believes the client therapist-relationship is one of the most paramount factors in achieving therapeutic success. She works with clients seeking support in anxiety, depression, disordered eating, trauma, couples & family therapy, and those seeking support in navigating life as their most authentic and at peace self. Her passion lies in helping people find acceptance and compassion in their relationship with their mind, body, food, and within their interpersonal relationships. Outside of her work, Mariah is an avid reader and spends much of her time with her family and two dogs.
