Britney Valachovic

LMHC

Britney is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s degree from The College of Saint Rose. She specializes in perinatal mental health and is passionate about supporting women through all stages of life, including pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. In addition to perinatal work, she provides therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and challenges related to life transitions.

She believes healing happens within meaningful, collaborative relationships. Her approach is warm, supportive, and client-centered, with a strong emphasis on helping clients feel truly heard, understood, and empowered. She strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and develop practical skills to improve their overall well-being.

In her work, she draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. She tailors each treatment plan to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual, recognizing that no two people — or healing journeys — are the same. Her goal is to help clients feel more confident, resilient, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and self-compassion.
