Jillian Flood

MHC-LP

Jillian works with children, adolescents, and families navigating emotional, behavioral, and attention-related challenges. She specializes in supporting kids who may be struggling with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, autism spectrum disorder, and difficulties with emotional regulation or behavior, while also guiding parents in understanding how best to support their child.

She recognizes that when a child struggles, the entire family system is impacted. Jillian works closely with both children and their caregivers to create practical, effective strategies that improve day-to-day functioning, strengthen relationships, and reduce stress at home.

With a background in behavior therapy, Jillian brings both structure and flexibility to her work. She helps children build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence, while supporting parents in responding to challenges with greater clarity and consistency.

Jillian’s approach is integrative and tailored to each child’s needs, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), expressive therapies, family systems work, and person-centered care. Her sessions are engaging, supportive, and developmentally appropriate, allowing children to feel comfortable while also making meaningful progress.

Clients and families often experience Jillian as patient, compassionate, and highly attuned. She creates a space that feels safe and nonjudgmental, while also helping families move toward real, sustainable change.

Jillian earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and has dedicated several years to working closely with children, adolescents, and their families.
