Juliet Coughlan
Juliet Coughlan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Albany, SUNY. She works with children, adolescents, adults and families navigating emotional, behavioral and relational challenges, focusing on building insight, self-confidence and effective coping and self-regulation skills.
Her clinical work centers on anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life transitions. With children, she uses developmentally appropriate play-based interventions to support expression and emotional processing. She also works directly with families of children to strengthen communication and improve relationships. With adolescents and adults, she helps clients navigate academic and career stress, identity development and family-related stressors alongside other life challenges.
Juliet’s approach is warm and collaborative. She partners closely with parents and caregivers to support growth both in and outside of sessions. Clients and families often experience her as compassionate, grounded and deeply attuned. She creates a safe and supportive environment where clients feel understood while also helping them build the tools and confidence needed to move forward.
