Kayla Paser

LMHC

Kayla is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, and relationship challenges. She brings a calm, supportive presence to her work, helping clients feel safe enough to explore their experiences while also building the tools needed to move forward.

Kayla supports clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to create change in their lives. She helps individuals develop greater self-awareness, identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, and strengthen their ability to cope with challenges in a more effective and sustainable way.

Her approach is collaborative and grounded in both insight and action. Kayla integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and guided discovery, while also incorporating a holistic perspective that considers the full context of each client’s life. She works alongside clients to create a process that feels both supportive and empowering.

Kayla places strong value on meeting clients where they are and building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, respect, and genuine understanding. She helps clients recognize their resilience, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Clients often experience Kayla as warm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. She creates a space that feels nurturing and nonjudgmental, while also gently guiding clients toward meaningful growth and change.

Kayla earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The College of Saint Rose and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Albany (SUNY Albany).
