Sydney Gabryshak

LMHC-D

Sydney is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D) who works with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. With advanced training in trauma studies and extensive clinical experience across diverse settings, she brings both depth and steadiness to her work.

Sydney supports individuals and couples who may feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns of anxiety, or impacted by past experiences that continue to shape their present. In her work with couples, she helps partners better understand each other’s emotional experiences, improve communication, and navigate patterns that may be rooted in attachment dynamics or past relational wounds.

Her approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based care, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic therapies, and strengths-based techniques. Sydney places a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, creating a space that feels safe, consistent, and genuinely supportive (whether she is working with individuals or partners).

Mindfulness and grounding are central to her work, helping clients reconnect with themselves and regulate their nervous systems with greater awareness and stability. When appropriate, Sydney partners with her certified therapy dog, Gus, whose calming presence can provide additional comfort and emotional support during sessions.

Clients often experience Sydney as compassionate, authentic, and deeply attuned. She brings both clinical expertise and a steady, reassuring presence to her work, supporting clients and couples in building insight, resilience, and more connected, fulfilling relationships.

Sydney earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, with a specialization in Trauma Studies.
