Theresa Aslin

LMHC

Theresa Aslin specializes in helping clients navigate the intersection of mental health, brain function, and life transitions. Her work especially focuses on ADHD, anxiety, and the often-overlooked impact of hormonal shifts on emotional well-being, including perimenopause and midlife mental health.

She understands that challenges like focus, overwhelm, mood changes, and burnout are not simply issues of willpower. They are deeply connected to how the brain and body are functioning. Theresa helps clients make sense of these patterns and develop practical, sustainable strategies that support both mental clarity and emotional balance.

Theresa takes an integrative, person-centered approach that blends cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, and holistic perspectives on health and wellness. She works collaboratively with clients to create individualized plans that are both actionable and aligned with their real lives, whether that means improving executive functioning with ADHD, navigating major life transitions, or stabilizing mood during hormonal changes.

Clients often describe Theresa as grounded, supportive, and highly practical. She creates a space where clients feel understood while also being gently guided toward meaningful progress and lasting change.

Theresa earned her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University and holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling from The College of Saint Rose. She has worked across diverse clinical settings and brings a strong commitment to advocacy and whole-person care into her work.
